Many NGOs will attend the World Summit for Sustainable Development without having been able to attend the global preparatory meetings ("PrepComms") nor having been to another large UN conference before. This experience can be overwhelming and confusing for everybody.

In order to give some orientation and advice, the Heinrich Böll Foundation, the Danish 92 Group, and the Ford Foundation invite you to a one-day Teach-In focusing on organisational and logistical matters around the World Summit and the Global People's Forum. It will be a starting point for a series of specific Teach-In sessions during the World Summit.

Note: Like with all events taking place inside the venue of the People's Global Forum, you need to be registered for the People's Global Forum to attend this event. If you are not yet registered, you can do so at the web site of the Civil Society Secretariat.
